Ingredients:
- 500 grams ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 egg
- 50 grams breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions:

Prepare the mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, oregano, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Shape the meatballs:
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small, round balls or slightly flattened patties.

Cook the meatballs:
- Heat some olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the meatballs in batches, turning them occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Serve:
- Serve the Qofte hot, with a side of yogurt, salad, or bread. They can also be enjoyed as part of a meze platter.
