Ingredients:

 500g minced pork (or a mixture of pork and beef)

 1 large onion, finely chopped

 2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

 1 medium potato, finely grated

 2 slices of bread, soaked in milk and squeezed well

 2 eggs

 1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped

 1 bunch of dill, finely chopped

 Salt and pepper to taste

 1 teaspoon dried thyme

 Breadcrumbs (for rolling)

 Oil (for frying)

 

 Instructions:

 Preparation of the composition:

 In a large bowl, mix the minced meat with the onion, garlic, grated potato, soaked and squeezed bread, eggs, parsley, dill, salt, pepper and thyme.

 Knead the composition well until it becomes homogeneous.

 

 Stake formation:

 With wet hands, form the logs of the desired size, giving them a slightly elongated shape.

 Roll each burn in the breadcrumbs, making sure they are well coated.

 

 Roasting:

 Heat the oil in a large pan.

 Fry the scallions on both sides until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.

 Remove the embers to a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

 

 Service:

 Serve hot with a side of mashed potatoes, pickles or a fresh salad.  They are delicious and very aromatic!
