Ingredients:
For the dough:
500 g of flour
1 egg
A cup of lukewarm water
A pinch of salt
For the filling:
250 g cottage cheese
1 egg (or 2 if you prefer)
2-3 spoons of sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
A pinch of salt
Method of preparation:
Preparation of the dough:
In a large bowl, put the flour and salt.
Add the egg and warm water gradually, mixing until you get a smooth dough that no longer sticks to your hands.
Knead the dough well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Preparation of the filling:
In another bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt until you get a homogeneous composition.
The training of cornerbacks:
Roll out the dough on the work table until you get a thin sheet.
Cut the sheet into squares of approximately 5x5 cm.
Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square.
Fold the squares into a triangle shape and press the edges with a fork to seal the corners.
Boiling the fennel:
Bring a large pot of water and salt to a boil.
When the water starts to boil, add the fennel and let them boil for 10-15 minutes, until they rise to the surface.
Remove the corns with a slotted spoon and put them in a bowl.
Service:
Coltúnasi can be served with cream and powdered sugar on top, or plain, according to preference.
